You don’t have to defend the second bit. Stan Lee said he’d be fine if Spider Man was originally Black, Hispanic, Indian, or anything. He just didn’t want an already established character to change their identity. He said if you want a character that’s different, just make a different character, which is exactly what happened.

Stan Lee never said he didn’t want a diverse or gay Spiderman. What he did say was that Peter Parker was an established character and that he saw no reason to change PETER PARKER. He went on to say that he would even write a gay and diverse Spiderman as an entirely new character. So fuck off with that shit.

Furthermore the allegations against Stan Lee for sexual misconduct were thoroughly investigated, and it was found that the women who made these allegations were abusing him. A vulnerable 90 year old man with ALZHEIMER’S. Can you imagine not remembering doing the thing a person is accusing you of? Have you been around people with Alzheimer’s? I took care of my grandmother who had advanced Alzheimer’s. She once slapped me clean across the face because she thought I was an intruder and had no memory of it.

Like, Pit, this scrawny ass angel, is pushing back Ridley, this HUGE ASS space dragon, with this angry look on his face (pushing him back REALLY FAST mind you) while Ridley has this expression that can only be described as “WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!”

That was like the best bit. He fought Samus MotherFucking Aran like 30 times and this random ass child with wings that doesn’t go up to his ankles is flinging him about like he’s made of paper.

Let us all take comfort at this time in a few things.

  • Stan Lee died at a time when his most famous character was more himself than he’s been in a long time and where the fandom as a whole had more positive vibes than negative ones. It would’ve been too depressing if he’d left us even a year earlier.
  • Stan Lee died when he was being cared for by his beloved daughter. A few months earlier and he might’ve died whilst being abused by a piece of human garbage, but he was rescued from that and so his last few weeks or months were at least better, if not outright happy.
  • Stan Lee died when the characters he created were at the zenith of their fame and popularity. People in China, a country regarded as the enemy when Stan created half those characters, were in love with his creations at the time he left us. And the latest Marvel movies had been not just box offices successes but in the case of Infinity War made Cinematic History!
  • Stan Lee died beloved by the world at large and seeing his creations beloved too, he was fully aware of how they affected people and what they meant to us and so many others.
  • Stan Lee on the whole had a long, happy and fulfilling life with his daughter and his beloved wife.
  • Stan Lee himself and his creations are going to have a legacy and be remembered forever more, even after we’ve all passed on too.
  • Stan Lee had a zest for life and made history when he was middle aged. If there is one thing to take away from him it’s that life is for the living and it’s never too late to make something of it.

Like it would be so easy to implement. If you buy all his maps Cornifer goes back home to sleep, so they could just make it so you can climb up somehow and Dream Nail him and it would be like that “Grey Prince Zote” boss except its Cornifer dreaming about the day he met Iselda and saw her absolutely wrecking a fool (the fool being you) and he fell in love.
