The guy got his life and career destroyed by his divorce, cut him some slack.
he was also sexually assaulted by a man who could destroy his career

reblog if the man on the right is just as beautiful as the man on the left
people grow old? like, that’s a thing that happens? leave my guy alone.
This man deserves everything let him he happy
Ok… This is what happened to Fraser
-His wife ditched him and asked for 900k a year,
-He was sexually assaulted which he said kicked him into a deep depression
-He stated that the stunts from the 3rd Mummy movie completely destroyed his body and he was in and out of the hospital for 7 years even having to get surgery to repair his vocal cords.
-He apparently blamed himself for all this which only worsened his depression.
This man has literally been through hell this past decade so please lets cut him some slack and wish him the best
A message to all artists out there! By creating art, you are an artist. There’s no milestone you have to hit or skill level you need to be at. You can draw once every few years or finish writing a chapter a week. You can crochet goods only for your family or sell your music to hundreds. Nothing qualifies or disqualifies you, so you are most definitely an artist. 🎨✨
It can be hard to detach, but our worth and happiness are not connected to how much we get done! I can be pretty achievement-oriented, but I have to learn how to be happy without being productive all the time (which is not sustainable!).🌸
What does it mean when you relate a lot to stories about ‘fake humans’ or ‘impostor people’ or robots/automatons or dopplegangers or monsters/undead that have decoy human lives
At least personally as an autistic person I’ve always found those stories relatable on the grounds of I feel like a certain amount of my behavior and demeanor towards other people feels insincere since it didn’t come natural and was mostly taught to me.
So having sat through classes that took the attitude of “this is how a Normal Person behaves, remember, you need to look people in the eye even if that’s uncomfortable and feels hostile to you, we don’t want to be rude,” I suppose the idea of an entity Pretending To Be Human is relatable because I think it strikes a particular neurodivergent experience where, when you’re frequently told or implied that there’s a Normal Human Way To Be and it’s not your experience but there will be consequences for you unless you emulate that “Normal Human Way To Be” it’s easy to look at doppelgangers or robot mimics and go “oh, same hat my dude”
Then there’s the idea of a “glamour failure” that goes with when you just can’t keep up the charade. Although getting overwhelmed and having a meltdown is nowhere near succumbing to vampiric blood cravings or suddenly turning into a large dog, there’s a similar feeling of horror at the idea of losing control and very obviously signaling to others that you’re Not Neurotypical, especially when you’re growing up without enough knowledge of your condition to understand what’s going on or the tools to cope with it.
