BNHA All for One and One for All

Hi there, hero fans! It’s your resident madman with a random post on my thoughts…

(OK, real talk: I’m bored as hell and this has been swimming in my head for like a week.)

We all know the story so far both anime and manga, so don’t start screaming spoilers at me… rude. All for One granting his brother a Quirk that would become his downfall. One thing we also know is that there is an unspoken theme with the bearers of One for All, their names all have number kanji/katakana in them.

So let me ask this, what are their names, and their Quirks, for that matter? So for the hell of it, I made a list! And I even added All for One’s name too.

Suukikyou Rishirou – All for One (his name is a pun on Cardinal Richelieu, antagonist of the Three Musketeers)

Suukikyou Ichirou – origin of OfA, power stockpile and Quirk transfer

Nuegaba Futatsumi – barrier Quirk, impregnable with focus, only over skin by 6 inches

Dainou Sanpei – high-intelligence Quirk, extremely adaptive in planning on the fly

Shimakuda Yonmaru – first to force OfA into host, used along with blade Quirk to rampage for own vengeance

Edaha Gomyojin – the longest bearer of OfA, was a bystander in Yonmaru’s rampage. Quirk allows to branch materials into tree-like structures.

Irori Rokushimo – Potent elemental Quirk, able to draw primal elements to fruition from body

Shimura Nana – Flight Quirk (come on, her best friend has Jet feet. They compliment each other here.)

Yeah, Yeah. It’s not a lot, but it’s something. If someone could draw these guys, thanks! Send me a message on one of them and I can answer as best I can to some of their back story and how the Quirk works.

@chapelseed: *sigh* Overhaul’s Quirk both destroys the body and can restore it without any scars or damage, no matter how old the wound. All for One is still scarred and weak. Imagine him brought back to his prime. Seems like a very Shigaraki tactic

OH! OH!! That’s actually really interesting! Shit yeah Shigaraki might go for something like.

…First he’d have to get to where AfO is being kept though, not get him out, so long as he gets Overhaul within touching distance, and the world would have to face a fully functional AfO, without All Might.

Yeah that just might happen….maybe near the end of the manga though

After talking with @codus21 for a bit, I wanted to share something with all of you,

Random thought to consider: Just how much damage did AfO receive from his first fight against All Might?

I mean, All Might had lost one lung and most of his stomach because of that fight (AfO said something about his guts hanging out during the fight yeesh), and he’s the one who won. So, what about AfO?

We know from 116 that the only reason he’s still alive is because of that mask he’s wearing, along with that tube going through his neck, and during the Kamino Ward fight he had to wear that big ass…helmet thing so he could leave the hospital bed he was strapped to up to that point.

So, he’s basically Darth Vader, on constant live support and living on through what could only be called sheer unmitigated spite for his nemesis and life in general.

But, and this is probably going to sound super gross but hear me out, what if, because of his fury over the death of his mentor, Toshinori went a little…overboard, and did some more personal damage to AfO?

What I mean is, AfO is a smug, petty son of a bitch, he said so himself that he aspired to be a “Lord of Evil”, he gets off on controlling people and hurting them in the most horrible ways possible, just look at what he’s done to Nana and her family, and you can’t tell me he isn’t the type of ass hole that would stoop to more…despicable methods of breaking his enemies, both physically and mentally.

Back to 116, OfA’s exact words to Toshinori on why he’s done to Shigaraki is because: “You took everything from me!” Everything, his rule over the world, his health, his glory, even the ways in which he enjoyed himself.

So, and this is the super gross part I mentioned earlier and I apologize in advance if anyone finds this upsetting, what I’m asking is…did AfO lose any of his equipment because of that fight?

It would definitely go a long to explain the sheer magnitude of hatred that he holds for All might, at any rate.

All Might wouldn’t do it on purpose, but my line of thinking from this scenario is he was a literal zombie, unable to control himself to the point he’d become a brutal, mindless beast with only one thing on his mind: Kill AFO. No matter what.

It was at this point All Might’s survival instinct latched on to that single thing running through his mind. It may or may not be true. But this layers on another facet to All Might’s character.

My thoughts exactly, his guts were literately hanging out of him, and the man that murdered his mentor stands before him, all that anger and hate and pain, both emotional and physical, probably overwhelmed him and his common sense, and all he could think about was not only kill, but to destroy this monster that made his life miserable and caused him and the people he loved so much pain and suffering.

If he did do something like that, he probably doesn’t even remember. Toshinori Yagi wouldn’t do that, All Might wouldn’t do that, but whatever spilled out of his guts during that fight certainly would.
