okay so this is kinda random but, I really like how Horikoshi draws smiles? Like, we all remember Izuku’s shining smile from back in the provisinal licence exam, and one of All Might’s difining features is his blinding grin.
Then there’s Bakugou’s manic smirks, Ochako’s adorable smiles, Tsuyu’s sweet little up turn of the lip, Kirishima’s big unabashed grin that shows off all his teeth, etc.
He draws smiles really well is whatI’m saying and his happy smiles make me happy.
PS: the day we see Eri smile with unrestrained happiness will be the best day of my life, I will take that panel and make it my phone backgroud, my lock screen, my desktop background etc.
Meant to collect smiles for rex but, much like a ton of other things, I threw it in the ‘get done later’ pile. Used this sudden burst of productivity, and my convenient file organizing time, to get it done now.

1. Can eat spicy food like it’s nothing. Mic once put a ghost pepper into his sandwich during lunch and Aizawa didn’t even notice.
2. Once, when he was a younger pro hero, he punched a reporter in the face hard enough to break their nose. He had just finished a mission that took four sleepless nights to complete and involved two civilians getting severely injured with minimal chance of recovery, so he wasn’t in control of his emotions at the time. If asked about it years later though, he’ll say he doesn’t regret it.
3. Can’t stand bitter food.
4. He and Mic are friends only because Mic wouldn’t leave him alone in high school, so he kinda just stopped trying to get him to buzz off at one point. He does enjoy his company though…not that he’ll admit it.
5. Feeds cats on his way to and from work.
6. Low-key workaholic. He’s been getting better at it though, mostly thanks to Mic.
7. High-key caffeine addict. Those who chose to stand between him and his first cup of morning coffee forfeit their lives.
8. Doesn’t shave. His facial hair just doesn’t grow more then what he has.
9. Mic called him a father of 20 one night while they were out drinking and Aizawa said, to his eternal horror, “Well, you’re not exactly wrong.” Has made Mic to swear under threat of death not to tell a soul.
10. Actually admires All-Might. Even before he learned the truth about him, his dislike of his methods and how prone he was to show-boating and buttering up the media just rubbed him the wrong way.

First my daughter Eri (let’s see if I can mention something I haven’t already):
1. She’s very conscious of her scars as first, always wearing clothes that cover them, seeing them as a reminder of her time spent with the Eight Precepts. She gets over it a bit after a talk with Deku, who says that these scars will only represent what she wants them to, using his own scars from using OFA as an example. When she’s older she starts seeing them instead as a symbol that she survived that horrible time in her life, and takes pride in them in a manner like battle scars.
2. She likes reading. Like, actual books instead of comics and manga. She reads those as well but she actually borrows a lot of books from the library to read in her spare time, really long ones too. Her favorite genre is mystery thrillers.
3. If she had to pick a single animal as a pet, she’d take a turtle. “Because he’s green! Like big bro!”
4. Hilariously though, she doesn’t like eating her greens, because she is still very much a child. Her least favorite vegetables are bell peppers.
5. Much like her big bro, she amasses quite the collection of Deku merchandise when she gets older. Her most valuable piece of merch is something worth millions, that she will never sell. It’s the rabbit eared hoodie of Deku’s original costume that he gave her when it got damaged beyond repair one day after a mission and the hoodie was the only thing left intact.
6. Likes listening to jazz after big sis Kyouka gave her a few disks to listen to.
7. Gives the best hugs. The only ones who come close are Kirishima and Tsuyu.
8. Ochako took her to see Ryukyu’s office one time and she got to see the pro hero transform into her huge Dragon form. She stared starry eyed at her for a full five minutes. She has her number on speed-dial under the name, “Aunty dragon.”
9. She also has Nighteye on speed-dial, his contact name is, “Uncle glasses.”
10. She is a font of knowledge when it comes to heroes of Izuku’s generation. She can count and name every single mission any of them have ever been in off the top of her head.
