Reading a comment on a fic that says something like, “You made me cry with this! Good job!” is so weird on both sides to consider because it’s like:

Reader: Congrats! You emotionally compromised me!

Writer: Yay! I emotionally compromised someone!

Like??? That’s so weird because I just got a comment like this on “Nightmares” from AO3 and it’s one of the first ones I got that really went into detail and I…feel good? Making someone cry????

Odd but true, writing is wild dudes.

In these recent chapters I’ve noticed a bit of a trend:

New chapter: *comes out*

MHA fandom: *screaming about Mirio, begging for him to be okay, screaming some more every time he gets hurt*

Me, holding up pictures of Eri while ignoring the screams of my peers: My daughter was so cute this week you guys! 😀 Wanna see pictures? 😀

An important part of growing up is doing something your parents never allowed you to do (such as eating a whole bag of marshmallows by yourself) just because you can now, and then finding out exactly why they didn’t allow you to do that (you will be sick for an hour)
