Does anyone remember Deadman Wonderland? I just finished reading the manga, it was good. Like, really good. I highly recommend it if you want some new bloody (literally) action manga to read.

…also I might write a little something for it…and actually FINISH it…maybe.

Okay two things:

One, I am REALLY excited to see what will happen tomorrow in BNHA, because it’s been looking like Horikoshi is building up to something with this arc. And you know when ever THAT happens, you better strap in and hold on to your ass (and your feels), because Horikoshi don’t fuck around.

Two, the amount of notes my little post about chapter 105 still stuns me, it got 360 notes in under a week. I have, right now ,18 followers, 4 of which I didn’t have a few days ago, just. how? Though I guess this proves that that poll about the worst SJ heroines was a load of crap. Not that it wasn’t obvious that it was a bunch of bull, but it’s good to see people agree with my sentiment.

Bitter? Me? Of course I’m not still bitter about that.

…actually no yeah I’m still bitter. fuck that poll and any one who thought of even putting Ochako as a damn option for it.

Ms. Joke Headcannon:

When ever Ms. Joke isn’t busy with with really important time consuming stuff like Teaching/Hero business/Annoying the crap out of Aizawa, she volunteers in all sorts of places.

Seriously, when ever she has any time off she spends it either helping out in an animal shelter, cleaning up her neighborhood, or visiting random children in a hospital.

And when she goes to hospitals, she brings her A-game, making sure every kid there is smiling and laughing instead of getting bummed out over having to stay there for whatever reason. She even jokes around with the doctors and helps the nurses out a little while she’s there.

Bonus extra sad headcannon:

After she’s done joking with the kids, she always makes sure to take a trip through the Oncology ward to talk to all of the patients there, young and old, and have a little fun with them, and to wish them good luck (”Keep fighting, and laughing, got it?”), and talk with them a little too (those that want to talk any way).

All the while she’s sneaking looks around her, hoping against hope that she doesn’t see a kid there, but if she does (and she always, always does), she makes a point of spending extra time with them, learning their names, their dreams, how long they’ve been staying at the hospital, why they’re there and so on. And when she’s done, and she really needs to get going, she gives the kid her number, so they can call her any hour of any day and talk to her, or ask her to come visit, or anything at all.

She always keeps close contact with them, all of them, sometimes up to 10 at a time, to the point it almost interferes with her work. She gets them gifts, actually tasty food, takes pictures every time she has to go to work, and even arranges party with all of them (or at least those that don’t live too far apart).

And of course, she keeps the parents in the loop. She gives them her number so she can get permission to visit the kid on any given day, and updates on how they’re doing. As well as…break the news to her if (when) the worst case scenario comes up.

She has a really thick picture album in her room by her bed, titled “My Brave Kids”, filled with all the picture she took with the sick kids she bonded with over the years, and every night before bed she picks it up without opening it, feels the weight of it in her hands for a minute, then puts it down and goes to sleep. Nobody knows about it, nobody.

(She wonder how long it will take for it to be too heavy for her to lift. or until she’ll need to get a new one

Any day now. Any day now.)

So, I’ve been playing Odin sphere this past week, finished Gwendolyn’s story and on the last third or so with Cornelius, and its a ton of fun! But of course since the story is so “serious”, and because I am far too easily amused, I am compelled to do a bunch of silly stuff while playing. Such as:

1. Giving every playable character a nickname, so far there are(more to be added later):

Gwendolyn: Gwen, Gweny (for when she’s being cute…which is often), or Queen Gwen (for when she is being badass…which is very often)

Cornelius: Cori, Corny (for when he’s being dramatic…which is often)

2. Going, “YO, MAURY!”, every time I ring the bell for the traveling kitchen, and Imagining the character saying it, despite the fact that everyone in this game speaks like a Shakespearean actor.

3. Burping when a character stops eating. Burping extra loud with Gwen

4. Singing the “I got the ring right here” song from Jimmy neutron under my breath whenever a scene focuses on Titrel.

5. Getting way too angry at the prices of food ingredients: “145 gold for one shrimp? Fuck right off!” “Over 200 for a fucking seed? Are you people mental!?” (Again, imagining the characters saying it)

Bonus: when I got to the part of Cornelius’ story where he was asked to bring General Brigan’s flask to lord Odin as proof of bravery, I added: “BRING it to you? Oh you bet your over sized ass I will, and then I’ll PISS in it for good measure!”

God I just imagined Cornelius actually saying this pffft

Will reblog with more as I play.
